Over 1.1 Million Register for CM’s ‘Maryam Ko Batayein’ Program

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s newly launched “Maryam Ko Batayein” program has received an overwhelming response, with over 1.1 million people registering within just 10 days.

Under the initiative, eligible citizens are being provided Rs10,000 directly into their JazzCash mobile wallets based on CNIC verification and official data records.

According to official figures, around 910,000 people registered through the mobile app, 140,000 via the 1000 helpline, and nearly 50,000 through the web portal (mkb.punjab.gov.pk). On average, more than 100,000 applications are being received daily.

Chairperson of the 1000 Helpline and CM Complaint Cell, Saima Farooq, stated that call volumes reflect strong public trust. The call center can handle 800 calls simultaneously, while additional callers receive an automated busy message.

Officials confirmed that eligibility is determined through PSER data and PMT scoring. Applicants already benefiting from programs like Benazir Income Support Programme or other Ramadan relief schemes are not eligible.

The government says digital verification ensures transparency and prevents duplicate registrations.
