The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced that financial assistance under the Ramadan Package 2026 will be distributed through digital accounts.
According to the official spokesperson, eligible families will receive Rs12,500 through JazzCash, ensuring faster and more convenient payments. Authorities confirmed that verification of beneficiary lists is currently underway and the amount will soon be transferred directly against CNIC numbers.
Earlier, the provincial government had removed the mandatory bank account requirement for receiving Ramadan assistance. The decision was taken after concerns that many deserving families, especially in rural areas, did not have access to banking facilities.
By shifting to digital wallets, the government aims to enhance transparency, reduce delays, and ensure that financial aid reaches deserving households without unnecessary hurdles.
Beneficiaries are advised to keep their CNIC details updated and follow official announcements regarding payment confirmation.
