The Government of Sindh has officially revised the board examination schedule for Classes 9 and 10 across the province.
Under the updated timetable, Class 10 exams will now begin on April 7, while Class 9 exams will start on April 8. The changes apply to all educational boards operating in Sindh.
The decision came after the Universities and Boards Department directed authorities not to conduct examinations during Holy Week and Easter. Earlier instructions clearly stated that no exam papers should be scheduled between April 2 and April 6, prompting boards to amend their previously issued date sheets.
The annual matric exams were originally set to begin on March 31. However, following the government’s directive, boards revised the schedule to avoid the restricted dates.
Students are advised to check updated date sheets from their respective boards and adjust their preparation plans accordingly to avoid confusion.
