CM Punjab Launches Bewa Sahara Card Scheme 2026 – Up to Rs150,000 Financial Assistance

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has officially announced the Bewa Sahara Card Scheme 2026 to provide financial assistance to widowed women across the province.

Under the scheme, registered and deserving widows will receive financial aid ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs150,000, depending on family size. The basic assistance amount has been fixed at Rs100,000. Widows supporting one child will receive Rs125,000, while those supporting two or more children will receive up to Rs150,000.

According to the Government of Punjab, the scheme aims to provide economic support, help meet basic household needs, and create opportunities for financial stability.

The program will start in February 2026, while registration will remain open until March 14, 2026. Applicants must be permanent residents of Punjab and provide a NADRA-verified CNIC, husband’s death certificate, and children’s B-Form.

Applications can be submitted through the online portal or designated registration centers. Authorities have stated that funds will be distributed after biometric verification and document scrutiny to ensure transparency.
