Citizens planning to apply for a driving license during Ramadan have received an important update. In Rawalpindi, licensing services are continuing without interruption throughout the holy month.
According to Farhan Aslam Reporter City42 News, more than 67,300 citizens have already been provided licensing services this month, while over 13,500 new driving licenses have been issued. He confirmed that applicants only need their original CNIC to access licensing facilities.
Authorities also shared that motorcyclists are being issued learner permits and driving licenses on the same day, making the process faster and more convenient. To facilitate citizens observing fasts, Iftar is also being provided at licensing centers.
Officials emphasized that services are being delivered on merit and with respect, ensuring a smooth and transparent process for all applicants during Ramadan.
