BISP Launches Real-Time Dashboard for Benazir Nashonuma Programme

The Benazir Income Support Programme has launched a real-time digital dashboard to monitor its flagship stunting prevention initiative, the Benazir Nashonuma Programme.

The dashboard was inaugurated by BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid, along with Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, and Coco Ushiyama, Country Director of the World Food Programme.

Officials say the new system will provide real-time data to improve performance monitoring, transparency, and decision-making at both federal and provincial levels. The dashboard is expected to strengthen oversight and enhance policy responses in Pakistan’s health and social protection sectors.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Senator Rubina Khalid highlighted that the initiative will help ensure better child growth and address nutritional deficiencies, especially among girls.

The Benazir Nashonuma Programme has already supported over four million women and children, focusing on nutrition during the crucial first 1,000 days of life.
