The University of the Punjab has officially announced its holiday schedule for Eid ul Fitr 2026 and the upcoming spring recess.
According to a notification issued by the Registrar’s Office, the university will remain completely closed from March 20 to March 23, 2026, on account of Eid ul Fitr. During these days, all teaching and administrative departments, institutes, centers, constituent colleges, and schools will remain closed.
Following Eid holidays, teaching departments and academic units will observe spring recess from March 24 to March 27, 2026. Classes and academic activities are scheduled to resume on Monday, March 30, 2026.

However, the notification clarifies that administrative staff will return to duty from March 24 to ensure that official matters and academic arrangements continue smoothly.
Students and staff have been advised to plan their schedules according to the announced dates and ensure timely return after the holidays.
